RIP Jimmy Carl Black

Jimmy Carl Black, first drummer for Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, died this weekend of lung cancer. He was 70, and that's him in the dress on the cover of the album We're only in it for the money.

For those of you who've seen Zappa's 200 Motels, he's the one signing “Lonesome Cowboy Burt.”

Here's a bit of a story about Black, it has Zappa and Black in it and lasts 2m40s.

And here's a performance from 2007

RIP, Jimmy Carl Black, The indian of the group.
